𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Continuing to expand its academic services, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - Student Placement Office (SPO) kicks off the first day of its Career Information Drive in various high schools across Tarlac Province on 11 February.

Spearheaded by SPO Director Dr. Marianne P. Villaruel, in collaboration with the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Business and Management (CBM), College of Education (CEd), College of Engineering and Technology (CET), College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), Planning and Development Office (PDO), Admission and Registration Services (ARS), Office of Student Services and Development (OSSD), Information Unit (IU), and Motorpool Services, the activity aims to introduce TAU’s curricular offerings, the process of application for admission, scholarship programs, and career pathways to senior high school students to align their skills with the right programs offered by the University. This initiative will run until 27 February, ahead of the application deadline for admission, and is set to include program orientations in nearby towns of the Province of Pangasinan.

Ambassador Ilan Fluss of the State of Israel arrived at Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) on 18 February, marking his fourth visit following his previous trip on 15 November 2021. Accompanied by MASHAV Deputy Director General Eynat Shlein and a delegation from the Israeli Embassy and MASHAV, Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation, Ambassador Fluss engaged in discussions on key agricultural issues with Agrostudies alumni and TAU students during a welcome program held at the TAU AgriTourism Hostel Function Hall.

In his message, Ambassador Fluss emphasized the significance of pursuing careers in agriculture, a field Israel actively promotes in the Philippines through the Agrostudies program. He also encouraged TAUians to participate in Israel’s mobility programs to gain firsthand experience in advanced agricultural practices.

The TAU-ARS announces the suspension of walk-in assistance for the Online Application for Admissions due to the high volume of applicants allowing the admissions to thoroughly review and validate each submission. This adjustment ensures that all applications are fairly assessed and properly validated.

Also, the ARS encourages the applicants to monitor their system accounts regularly which they created in the TAU portal and ensure that the uploaded documentary requirements are complete. Please note that incomplete or unclear uploading of documents will not be processed.

Aiming to raise awareness about the negative effects of exclusion and unconscious bias, the campaign sets up an information booth, provides flyers, and assembles a freedom wall that welcomes everyone in the TAU community.

OSSD, in collaboration with the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), Gender and Development (GAD) Office and student organizations, aims to educate the community that despite socioeconomic backgrounds, gender differences, ethnicity, and physical ability, every individual must not experience prejudice and exclusion and recognize the value of one other.
