𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Continuing to expand its academic services, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - Student Placement Office (SPO) kicks off the first day of its Career Information Drive in various high schools across Tarlac Province on 11 February.
Β
Spearheaded by SPO Director Dr. Marianne P. Villaruel, in collaboration with the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Business and Management (CBM), College of Education (CEd), College of Engineering and Technology (CET), College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), Planning and Development Office (PDO), Admission and Registration Services (ARS), Office of Student Services and Development (OSSD), Information Unit (IU), and Motorpool Services, the activity aims to introduce TAU’s curricular offerings, the process of application for admission, scholarship programs, and career pathways to senior high school students to align their skills with the right programs offered by the University. This initiative will run until 27 February, ahead of the application deadline for admission, and is set to include program orientations in nearby towns of the Province of Pangasinan.
Β
Through these efforts, the SPO aims to guide future TAUians in matching their interests with potential careers and to clarify common misconceptions about certain professions. This will help students make well-informed decisions about pursuing tertiary education. Although TAU strives to produce globally competitive graduates, the free tuition policy requires an entrance examination as a prerequisite, subject to the availability of slots.
