In observance of the Holy Week, the University will shift to asynchronous/ online classes from 14-16 April (Monday to Wednesday). Faculty members are advised to conduct lessons via the official Learning Management System (LMS) or other suitable virtual platforms, ensuring academic continuity while respecting the solemnity of the season. 

Learning activities should be designed with consideration for the reflective nature of this period. Please be advised that other University operations will continue during the aforementioned dates. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Today, 14 April, marks the first day of asynchronous online classes and the observance of Holy Week. As a result, only University officials, employees, and on-the-job trainees (OJT) assemble for this week’s flag-raising ceremony, led by the Office of the President and the College of Engineering and Technology in front of the Learning Resource Center.

In his message, TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson emphasizes forgiveness, echoing the spirit of the Lenten Season and Pope Francis’ call for global solidarity.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Facilitating discussions and refining systems aimed at uplifting Indigenous People (IP) Communities  through innovative and sustainable solutions, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) - Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD), in coordination with Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) Department of Extension and Training (DET), hosts a workshop on the finalization of project proposals at the Farmers’ Training Center (FTC) on 11 April.

Participants from state universities and colleges (SUCs) and related regional organizations across Northern and Central Luzon actively present and upgrade their proposed projects, ensuring alignment with sustainable development goals (SDGs) and national and regional development agenda and integration of science and technology into livelihood programs.

Students of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) are invited to join the Harmony in Balance - Summer Camp 2025 organized by the Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (UNDIKSHA) in Bali, Indonesia featuring two sessions from 23 June to 11 July 2025 (Session 1) and 11-17 August (Session 2).

Session 1 will require a program fee of USD 650 (approximately Php 37,200.00) which includes cultural activities such as cooking class, learning to make Batik, experience the Balinese Dance and Dolphin sightseeing.

Tarlac Agricultural University - External Linkages and International Affairs (TAU-ELIA) proudly announces that two faculty members from the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) have been selected to participate in the University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) x Japan hub for Innovative Global Education (JIGE) 2025 Professional Development Joint BM Program on 8, 15, and 22 April 2025.  

Ms. Eden B. Cabarrubias and Ms. Angelica N. Balmocena, both instructors from CAS, will represent the University in this international initiative aimed at enhancing professional competencies while fostering cross-cultural collaboration across other institutions.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), through its Planning and Development Office (PDO) - Management Information System (MIS), conducts a hackathon  at the Bamboo Training Center, 14 April, bringing together five teams from the Department of Information Technology, College of Engineering and Technology (CET). 

The first day features a design thinking workshop and problem refinement session facilitated by Mr. Grahssel T. Dungca, Lead of the Devcon Pampanga Chapter, as students develop solutions to systems challenges identified by the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Administration, Quality Assurance (QA) Office, and Digital Media Production Laboratory.

In observance of Holy Week, the Malacañang Palace has declared a half-day work-from-home arrangement (8:00 AM to 12:00 PM GMT+8) for government offices on Wednesday, 16 April, allowing employees meaningful time for spiritual reflection.

For Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU): morning classes (8:00 AM–12:00 PM) on 16 April will remain asynchronous/ online delivery. The public is further advised that face-to-face office transactions will resume on Monday, 21 April. Let us observe this solemn season with reverence and purpose.

TAU - ELIA encourages the Laboratory School (TAU-LS) students to join the 2025 Globalization and Cross-Cultural Experience Program by Providence University - Taiwan on 3 -12 August 2025.

This 10-day intensive training program is designed to cultivate students’ language proficiency, intercultural communication skills, and global awareness through cultural activities and thematic discussions on international issues.
