𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Facilitating discussions and refining systems aimed at uplifting Indigenous People (IP) CommunitiesΒ  through innovative and sustainable solutions, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) - Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD), in coordination with Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) Department of Extension and Training (DET), hosts a workshop on the finalization of project proposals at the Farmers’ Training Center (FTC) on 11 April.

Participants from state universities and colleges (SUCs) and related regional organizations across Northern and Central Luzon actively present and upgrade their proposed projects, ensuring alignment with sustainable development goals (SDGs) and national and regional development agenda and integration of science and technology into livelihood programs.Β 

The event is also graced by DOST-PCAARRD officials; Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, TAU President; Dr. Edmar N, Franquera, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training (VPRET); Dr. Maria Elena T. Caguioa, Director of the Department of Research and Development (DRD); and Dr. Agnes C. Perey, DET Directorβ€”demonstrating the full support of the national government and TAU community to impactful, community-driven development initiatives.
