TAUiansβ participation in the exercise also highlights their ability to act promptly and adequately during emergencies. In participating in this activity, TAUians show their readiness for an earthquake; making an important contribution towards the national goal of building resilience against disasters.

A joint initiative between the College of Education (CEd) and the Office of External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA), the GCC Regional Hub in Region III is still housed at Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU).

First awarded to TAU in 2022, the said interinstitutional partnership was made possible through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between TAU and the Philippine Normal University (PNU) on 18 October 2022.
