Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) proudly shares with its stakeholders and partners the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) recognition of the university’s Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) through the agency’s Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) - Bronze after TAU reached level 2 in HRM core systems maturity, and demonstrated quality service in processes involving recruitment, selection, and placement; learning and development; performance management; and rewards and recognition since 2017.

Recognizing the value of proactiveness and preparedness in institutional management, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) collaborated with the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) to equip its officials and staff with relevant knowledge regarding anticipatory governance, highlighting the former’s commitment to future-ready operations.

Held at the Agritourism Hostel Function Hall on 24-26 September, DAP’s Certificate Course on Foresight and Futures Thinking (CCFFT) Batch 2 focused on teaching foundational futures thinking concepts through lectures and workshops facilitated by resource speakers and learning managers from DAP and coordinators from the Planning and Development Office (PDO).

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | In continuation of last week’s event celebrating this year’s 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary with the theme "Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes,” the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community resumes the month-long Sportsfest to foster teamwork and camaraderie through various games, 20 September.

Despite the drizzly weather, the faculty and non-teaching staff take part in the activities at the TAU oval, covered court, and other sports facilities inside the campus, showcasing their athleticism and strategies in badminton, volleyball, darts, table tennis, and mobile legends.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | To introduce another potential banner product, the Tarlac Agricultural University, through a partnership between the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) and the Department of Extension and Training (DET), initiates a Training for Mulberry Production for Sericulture at the Farmers’ Training Center on 19-20 September.

Guided by experts from the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) Sericulture Research and Development Institute (SRDI), the participants learn how to select the site, prepare the planting materials, and manage culture for mulberry production on the first day. For the second day, the CAF students and several non-teaching staff take part in the hands-on mulberry plantation establishment at two preselected vegetation areas within TAU.
