This adjustment is due to the rescheduling of Tarlac Agricultural University’s (TAU) 79th Commencement Exercises and Recognition Program from 10-11 June to 5-6 June. Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) successfully concluded its three-day Internal Quality Audit (IQA) Training Program held at the Bamboo Training Center Function Hall from 7-9 May. The intensive workshop, themed "Inclusive Internal Audit & Reporting: Advanced Techniques for Quality Management," featured Ms. Cynthia R. Ramirez as the resource speaker guiding participants through ISO 9001:2015 standards implementation.

The comprehensive training kicked off with inspiring messages from VP for Planning and Quality Assurance Dr. Leonell P. Lijauco, Gender and Development (GAD) Director Dr. Ma. Theresa B. Nardo, and TAU President Dr. Silveiro Ramon DC. Salunson. Throughout the first day, Ms. Ramirez expertly walked auditors through fundamental ISO concepts including process approach and leadership requirements, setting a strong foundation for the subsequent sessions.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | To foster camaraderie and promote health and wellness among students, faculty, and staff, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - Supreme Student Council (SSC) in collaboration with the TAU-Multipurpose Cooperative (MPC), organizes a campus-wide Color Fun Run that features a 3-kilometer race and a 1.5-kilometer “Dog Duo Run” on 7 May.

As part of the week-long celebration of TAU’s 9th Charter Anniversary, the activity aims to engage TAU community in fun activities including the Color Fun Run where participants loop through key landmarks of the University. 

In the student category, Mr. Aljone S. Doctor and Ms. Jem-Jen C. Garcia, both from the College of Business and Management (CBM) emerge as winners in the 3K race. Meanwhile Mr. Jojo D. Salvador from the Human Resource Management Unit (HRMU) and Ms. Rachel C. Felix from the Gender and Development (GAD) Office take first place in the below 40 category for employees.

CHRONICLES | DevCom docus champion SDGs, amplify marginalized voices

The Bachelor of Science in Development Communication (BS DevCom) students from the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) shed light on pressing societal issues during the Sine-Sulong documentary screening held at the Farmers’ Training Center (FTC) Function Hall, 7 May.

The film viewing showcases creative documentaries which address key concerns like healthcare access, educational equity, and sustainable urbanization that align with United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

The program, spearheaded by CAS - Department of Development Communication faculty members Mr. Nelmar A. Mallari, Mr. Von Carlo R. Pangilinan, Mr. April Christian C. De Leon, Ms. Hasmine Arielle G. Mariano, Mr. Jasper Alfonso, and Ms. Sharlene Mae M. Domingo and supported by CAS Dean Dr. Sherwin S. Alar is part of the partial fulfillment in the Communication Campaigns and Programs (DCOMM 06) and Introduction to Multimedia Writing (DCOMM 12) subjects of the second-year and third-year BS DevCom students.

The Passage to ASEAN (P2A), in collaboration with Duy Tan University (Vietnam), Temasek Polytechnic (Singapore), and Universitas Islam Indonesia, invites students from Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) to join the ASEAN Entrepreneurship Hackathon 2025 with the theme “Connecting Minds, Methods, and Machines to Co-Create Innovations for Global Challenges” to be held from 25 April to November 2025.

This program is crafted to empower student innovators to sharpen their problem-solving skills and develop sustainable solutions with real-world commercial potential. Participants will receive coaching throughout the competition and are encouraged to continue developing their solutions beyond the hackathon.

Educators, administrators, and students from Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) are encouraged to participate in the Global Virtual Exchange Summit 2025 with the theme, “Empowering Future Leaders in an Interconnected World,” which will take place in a hybrid format (both Zoom and in-person at The Salisbury - YMCA, Hong Kong) on 8-9 July 2025. 

Last year, the summit was a resounding success, attracting 682 participants from 48 countries and showcasing 83 speakers from 25 countries. You have the opportunity now to join and be part of this enriching experience where you can share your insights, expand your networks, empower future leaders, and learn more about groundbreaking research in the fields of cultural exchange.
