Remaining true and committed to its reputation as a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Teacher Education, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) College of Education (CEd) registered commendable performance in the September 2024 Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) released by the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) on 13 December.
 
In the elementary level, first-time takers showcased a perfect record with a 100% passing rate (43 out of 43), leading to an impressive overall passing rate of 91.49% (43 out of 47) while in the secondary level, first-time takers achieved an exceptional 96.08% passing rate (49 out of 51), contributing to an overall passing rate of 71.62% (53 out of 74).

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Delegates from the Pangasinan State University (PSU) - Infanta Campus pay a visit to the Tarlac Agricultural University’s (TAU) Rootcrops Research and Training Center (RRTC), 11 December.
 
The team from PSU is welcomed by Mr. Carlo Magno L. Sagun, Assistant Director of RRTC. Mr. Sagun outlines the processes and technologies used in tissue-culture as well as in improving the different varieties of sweetpotato cultivated at TAU. PSU is conducting benchmarking as it has an existing project under the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR). The delegates from PSU also meet with Dr. Edmar N. Franquera, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training (VPRET).

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Giving voice to what words cannot express, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) Gender and Development (GAD) office initiates the Chalk Street Art contest at Lover’s Lane on 6 December.
 
This is the second time this event is being conducted, with the first organized in March 2023. This year’s theme is “He for She - Men as Champions of Gender Equality” which focuses on the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Number 5. Students and employees of TAU participate in two categories. Winners will receive cash prizes.
