Through joint initiatives to bolster academic opportunities and research development, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) was sealed through a virtual signing on February 4, 2025.

Paving the way to establish said partnership was Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, TAU President and Dr. Bobby D. Gerardo, NISU President along with Dr. Benny S. Soliman, Director of External Linkages and International Affairs of TAU and Dr. Fernan P. Tupas, Director of Communication and International Collaboration Office of NISU.

Both TAU and NISU will support and strategize joint research initiatives; faculty, students and staff exchange programs; sharing of academic resources, curriculum mapping and development, benchmarking, partnership activities and more.

As such, by working together to trailblaze partnered-activities and collaborative efforts will bring TAU and NISU to thrive greater into the internationalization (IZN) milieu.
