Psychology student nails AMERTA qualifier

After acing the stringent selection process, Mr, Bren Noah M. Nieto of Tarlac Agricultural University - College of Arts and Sciences (TAU - CAS) now joins his fellow qualifiers in the Academic Mobility Exchange for Undergraduate at Airlangga (AMERTA).
AMERTA is a one-semester mobility program offered to international students by the Universitas Airlangga (UA) for free. It is granted to global scholars who are interested in a number of subjects focusing on uniquely Indonesian perspectives such as sociology, cultural studies, economics, natural sciences, and health sciences. Classes will be taught in English.
Mr. Nieto plans to take up Industrial Psychology and Group Dynamics at UA and he shared that he looks forward to improving his communication skills and widening his perspectives by interacting with Indonesian professors. “More than the exceptional opportunity to meet international students, I am expecting to further expand my knowledge in Psychology,” he explained.
A third year student, Mr. Nieto currently serves as the vice chairperson of CAS Student Council and secretary of TAU Association of Future Psychologists.
Located in Surabaya, East Java, UA has long been considered as one of Indonesia’s Big 5 universities.
