To benchmark on regulations and operations concerning assistance provisions for students, officials from Kalinga State University (KSU) interacted with their counterparts from Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) during a partnership development meeting at the Office of the President (OP) Conference Room on 3 August.

The delegates from KSU, headed by Dr. Maryjoyce D. Wangiwang, Director for Student Development and Placement Services, conferred with their fellow leaders from TAU regarding incentives for scholars who are excelling academically and grants for student-leaders actively involved in organizations. The group also discussed the procedures followed in Medical and Dental Services, Guidance Services, Student Publications, Sports, and Socio-Cultural Development.

Facilitated by the Office of External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) and led by Dr. Danilo N. Oficiar, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services (VP-SAS), the program was attended by Ms. Yolanda F. Juan, Vice President of Finance and Administration, and concerned directors and chiefs under the Office of the VP-SAS.

Currently steered by its second president, Dr. Eduardo T. Bagtang, KSU continues its pursuit of prioritizing the well-being of its student body, which today still remains the university’s key focus.
