The second day started with a one-hour digital financial literacy seminar, which was followed by a product development and innovation forum. During the said forum, Dr. Jay-Ar A. Dr. De Mayo also showcased the other technologies and technical services offered by the University through its DET, Rootcrops Research and Training Center (RRTC), and the Food Technology Department. TAU food products and e-bamboo items were likewise exhibited via a makeshift booth for additional publicity.
Β
According to the TAU-BAS Director, generated technologies by state colleges and universities serve their purpose when utilized by the community for the betterment of quality of life and when commercialized to thrive the businesses, and so, events such as BizConEx are great avenues to introduce TAU products to improve their market reach.
Β
"BizConex is a valuable platform to promote TAU technologies and connect with potential investors, forge new collaborations, and contribute to the establishment of more businesses in the province of Tarlac and better livelihood opportunities among its people," he said.
