CAPTURED IN LENS | To champion sustainability and solid waste management, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) through the General Services Office (GSO) and its dedicated units: Ecological Waste Management Unit (ESWM), Facility Management Unit, and Motorpool, spearheads the University-wide clean-up drive in collaboration with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources - Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (DENR-CENRO), 4 April.

Said collaborative effort aims to achieve a cleaner and greener campus while also raising awareness about waste reduction.

The collected non-recyclable waste materials during the activity will be measured by DENR-CENRO to determine its total weight and will be turned over to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Camiling for appropriate disposal and processing, while the recyclable materials will be segregated at the University’s Material Recovery Facility (MRF) for recycling or upcycling.
