Spearheading this week's flag hoisting is the Gender and Development (GAD) Office led by its Director, Dr. Ma Theresa B. Nardo, together with the GAD Focal Point System from different offices at TAU.

During the ceremony, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC Salunson, TAU President, congratulates Dr. Joseph Paul T. Abad for being sworn in as the new Faculty Regent of the TAU Board of Regents (BOR), and also reveals that all proposed agenda were approved by the BOR during its first meeting on 18 July.

Dr. Salunson likewise coordinates with the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) to propose that the flag ceremony be moved every Monday at 7:30 to 8:00 in the morning to encourage all TAU employees to attend the activity.
