𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 | TAU NASA officials confer with Zambales uni nonteaching org 

In an effort to improve their services to their members, the officials of the Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA) of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) engaged in a bilateral dialogue with officers of President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU) NASA in PRMSU Main Campus, Iba, Zambales on 26 April.

During the meeting, the TAU NASA leadership had a productive conversation with their counterparts. Issues raised included benefits for members, participation in the University management, and  income generating projects of the organization.

𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 | CET aces Festival of Talents, claims overall championship

Garnering 76 points, the College of Engineering and Technology (CET) snagged the overall championship title in the Festival of Talents, facilitated by the Sociocultural Development Office (SDO), in collaboration with Tarlac Agricultural University’s six colleges and the Supreme Student Council (SSC), on 18-19 April. 

CET captured four gold medals in Painting, Photography, Spoken Poetry, and Piano. In a message, CET Cultural Coordinator Engr. Donna Fay N. Labrador attributed her College’s victory to synergy and collaboration. “Nagtulungan po ang faculty at Student Council. Very supportive din po ang aming Dean. Pinili po namin best of the best po sa CET,” Engr. Labrador commented

Dela Cruz, and Internal Audit Services (IAS) Office headed by Ms. Lina L. Rafael, Internal Auditor III. QA and IAS separated in 2022 to carry out their respective mandates and functions independently which are likewise aimed at adding value and improving the effectiveness of the University’s four-fold operations

Salunson, TAU President, conveys his solidarity message to the CEd community as it undergoes the 4th Survey Phase 2 Second Cycle for Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) and Master of Arts in Education (MAEd), 5 June.

To express his support to the College of Education (CEd), Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, TAU President, conveys his solidarity message to the CEd community as it undergoes the 4th Survey Phase 2 Second Cycle for Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) and Master of Arts in Education (MAEd), 5 June.

Facilitated by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) via Zoom, the online assessment will run until 7 June.

The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Services - Placement  Services Unit hosts a seminar entitled “Finding the Road Towards Career Success” that aims to equip the graduating students from the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Education (CED), College of Business and Management (CBM), College of Engineering and Technology (CET), and College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) with necessary skills and knowledge to navigate their career paths successfully.

The Tarlac Agricultural University-Human Resource and Management Office (HRMO) administered the oath-taking ceremony of 74 newly promoted faculty members before the University President Dr. Max P. Guillermo and other officials,  at the Student Alumni Center Amphitheater, 23 April, following the release of the initial batch of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Joint Circular No. 3, s. 2022 (JC 3) results.

𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 | CvSU benchmarks at TAU to boost agriculture 

As it aims to improve its operations, particularly in agricultural advancement, the Cavite State University (CvSU) conducted a benchmarking activity at Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) to explore several of the University’s best agricultural practices on 25 April. 

A delegation from the CvSU, composed of personnel from its Extension Services (ES), Sugar Palm Research Information Trade (SPRINT), and Gender and Development Resource Center (GADRC) led by Dr. Almira G. Magcawas, former Director of Extension Services and the newly designated Vice President for Planning and Development, was welcomed by the TAU team, led by Dr. Yolanda S. Guillermo, the OIC Vice President for Research, Extension and Training, at the TAU-Farmers’ Training Center.

𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 | 𝙏𝙤 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙨-𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 TAU, ATI sign deal on agri training

“When ATI (Agricultural Training Institute) is there, TAU (Tarlac Agricultural University) is there. We have been working together for years.” Such were the words of Dr. Max P. Guillermo, TAU President, during the ceremonial signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between TAU and ATI at the Office of the President (OP) Conference Room on 29 April.

“Wala akong matandaan na hindi inapprove na request ng TAU,” Dr. Guillermo continued, suggesting that TAU has long been recognized as a key partner of ATI. “I hope that the next TAU President will have a heart for farmers. Ipagdasal niyo na bigyan kami ng Panginoon ng karapat-dapat na pangulo,” Dr. Guillermo stated in reference to the end of his term and the impending search for the next TAU President.
