The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) led by its President, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, joins the Achieve Together: The Higher Education Summit, an event facilitated by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) that highlights the first 100 days of CHED Chairperson, Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, at the Manila Hotel, on 15 September.
Dr. Salunson converges with State University and College (SUC) Presidents, CHED Central and Regional Directors, and CHEDRO Supervisors-In-Charge of the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) and Open Distance and E-Learning (ODEL).
Said event also features the accomplishments during the first 100 days of Dr. Agrupis that aligns in the ACHIEVE (๐dvanced and Accessible Lifelong Learning, ๐entralized One Nation Human Capital Development Plan, ๐armonized SDG-based Higher Education Research and Innovation Agenda, ๐ntegrated Real-Time Data Collection and Analytics System, ๐xpanded and Impact-Driven Internationalization Strategies, ๐italized Policies, Internal Systems and Governance, and ๐ffective and Efficient Public Service) agenda.
In addition, the program also holds a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing of the Trifocalized Education Agreement, sharing of international best practices on Recognition of Prior Learning and ODEL, as well as orientations on CMO No. 11, Series of 2025, which details the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 12124 on the ETEEAP, and CMO No. 12, Series of 2025, which sets the policies and guidelines on ODEL.
