The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community gathers at the TAU Grandstand on 6 October.

Following the singing of the patriotic hymns and recitation of the pledges, University President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson commends the General Services Office (GSO) for its continued efforts in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the University. He expresses his appreciation to the laborers, utility workers, maintenance personnel, and all employees whose daily work helps keep the University functional, safe, and welcoming. He also highlights the value of recognizing the contributions of every worker in line with the celebration of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) 126th Anniversary and extends his greetings to teachers as the University joins the observance of World Teachers’ Day.

The Human Resource Management Unit (HRMU) then recognizes the October birthday celebrators and announces the upcoming CSC Awarding on 9 October and the TAU Sports Festival scheduled on 4-6 November.

Dr. Sheila R. Lingaya, Assistant Director of the External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA), welcomes five practice teachers from Universitas Tidar who are participating in a month-long teaching program at the College of Education (CEd) - Laboratory School (LS) from 29 September to 27 October. She also recognizes the ASEAN Winners and awards their certificates.

Dr. Emerson B. Cuzzamu, Director of the Sports Development Office (SDO), commends the offices and personnel who extend assistance throughout the recently concluded SIKLABAN 2026 Intramurals. Supreme Student Council (SSC) President Joela O. Tomas then announces the winners of this year’s SIKLABAN.

The advisers of the Golden Harvest (GH), led by Ms. Hasmine Arielle G. Mariano and Ms. Sharlene Mae M. Domingo, recognize student journalists who earn distinctions at the recently concluded Young Journalists Press Freedom Conference (YJPFC) in Bataan. They also recognize the former GH Editor-in-Chief for being named among the Top 10 Outstanding Students of the Philippines in Region III.

The ceremony highlights the contributions, achievements, and milestones of the TAU community as the University continues to celebrate excellence, service, and solidarity.
