Driven to represent Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) on the international stage, students earned awards at the Passage to ASEAN (P2A) Hybrid Mobility by Discipline (HMD): Language and Culture Program, themed βPreserving ASEAN Cultural Heritage with AIβHuman Co-Creation,β held online from 29 August to21 October 2025.
Thirteen (13) TAU students joined the virtual program. The Batirulians team, composed of Jhemalyn P. Villar, Arianna Foo Lee Naa, Kristine Joy C. Magno, Hanna Claire O. Cero, Karla Shane S. Esguerra, Nica Kathryn P. Mawirat, and Alyssa Mae E. Bautistaβsecured the 3rd Prize in the promotional video and poster competition.
Meanwhile, the Sunduk team consisted of Krystalle Ashlyn J. Danao, Manuela Joyce D. Matricio, Pamela F. Agulay, Dana Aron M. Rilveria, Hobert B. Parinas, and Jamaica B. Agustin. Their team placed 10th among the twenty-seven (27) competing groups.
The 2025 P2A HMD gathered more than 170 participants from thirteen (13) institutions from the Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
