The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - College of Education (CEd) recognized its September and November 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) passers during a testimonial dinner held at the Farmersโ Training Center (FTC) on 30 January.
During the event, TAU-nurtured LET passers were congratulated by Dr. Claire Anne A. Olivares, CEd Dean, for their hard work that gave a remarkable distinction for TAU-CEd, stressing that their achievement is a testament to their own dedication as well as the quality of education they have received from the University. Dr. Olivaresโ message was delivered by CEdโs Assistant Dean Dr. Lynn Michelle N. Gorospe.
In her speech, Dr. Olivares through Dr. Gorospe, expressed her deep appreciation for this yearโs LET passers for bringing pride to the University.
In a recent data released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), TAU ranked 8th among top-performing schools at the elementary level with 98.36% first-time passing rate and an outstanding 95.31% institutional passing rate that exceeds the national passing rate of 51.05% which led TAU to earn a spot among the countryโs top teacher education institutions (TEIs), which was also noted by the PRC.
Meanwhile, TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, represented by the Un
iversity Board Secretary Mr. Sonny A. Santos, also commended the newly licensed teachers, urging them to live by the principles of integrity, competence, and service as they begin their teaching careers. He emphasized the important role teachers play in nation-building and in molding the next generation of leaders.
Selected LET passers shared their testimonies during the program, recounting the challenges they faced throughout their preparation and expressing gratitude to their families, mentors and the university community for their unwavering support.
Among the chosen LET passers who shared a testimony were: John Ray C. Feliz, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED) Representative; Daniela Kaye C. Quismorio, Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) Representative; Kim Aaron L. Capiendo, Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) Representative; and Hazell A. Gutierrez, Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd) Representative.
The program also featured the awarding of certificates to the passers as a formal recognition of their achievement.
The evening concluded with a socialization activity, providing an opportunity for the honorees, faculty members and administrators to celebrate the milestone together and strengthen camaraderie within the TAU College of Education community.
